Thermoplastic Elastomer (TPE) is a soft and flexible polymer with excellent physical properties, making it a good alternative for many latex or silicone tubing applications. FDA, NSF and USP Class VI material compounds are available for medical and food/beverage applications.
Customer Commitment
In late 2002, Kent Elastomer purchased a new facility in
Mogadore, Ohio and moved all of its Extrusion production
from its Kent location. The addition of our Mogadore extrusion
facility has allowed us to increase our capacity to fill
the growing needs of the food, beverage, and medical industries.
This state of the art facility manufactures tubing and finished
product assemblies for food and beverage delivery systems
and medical applications.
This facility was awarded the Certificate of Excellence
in Food Safety from ASI
Food Safety Consultants. The Certificate
reflects that Kent Elastomer is going beyond the government
guidelines to be compliant in insuring that food is safe
when used with its product.
