Part of the Kent Elastomer Products’ Mission Statement is that our success will be measured by our positive contributions to our communities.  Kent Elastomer employees try to make a difference in the lives of others by not only making monetary donations that the company matches, but also by volunteering their time and efforts to the following organizations:

Kent Social Services provides food, clothing, shelter, counseling and mentoring, among other needs, to an ever-growing number of individuals struggling to make ends meet in the northeast Ohio area. In 2014 they assisted over 90,000 individuals, providing them with life’s most basic needs.

Akron Canton Regional Food Bank Logo Akron-Canton Regional Food Bank

The Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank provides food and other essential items to member agencies in eight northeast Ohio counties. These member agencies then operate 500 food pantries, hot meal sites, shelters and number of other hunger relief programs in neighborhoods and communities across the region.

Project KARE Logo Share-A-Christmas and Project KARE (Holmes, Tuscarawas, Stark, and Wayne counties)

Share-A-Christmas provides families that are facing hard economic times the basic essential items to help brighten their holiday season. Project KARE is a program that enables abused and neglected children to receive school supplies, holiday gifts and other types of assistance throughout the year.

The Ronald McDonald House of Akron provides unique and supportive home-like environment for children and families in need, allowing parents to be close by their sick children while receiving hospital care. Each night they serve their guests a complete dinner with access to a fully stocked pantry regardless of the family’s ability to pay. Thus, allowing children to heal faster and cope better.
