New Technical Data Sell Sheets Detail Extensive Product Lines

Kent, Ohio, April 2007 -- Kent Elastomer Products, Inc., a subsidiary of Meridian Industries, Inc., and a leading provider of thermoplastic elastomer tubing, natural rubber latex tubing, and dip-molded parts for the medical, dental, food/beverage, and industrial markets, makes available three new two-sided sell sheets detailing the capabilities and technical data of their enhanced product lines.

The three sheets provide information on thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) tubing, natural rubber latex tubing, and natural rubber latex and synthetic latex dip-molded products. Each sheet describes the complete capabilities of the product line.

The TPE tubing sheet provides general information on this latex-alternative tubing and specific characteristics of the various compounds available. TPE tubing is an extremely soft and flexible polymer claiming many of the same physical characteristics of rubber. Kent manufactures TPE tubing in a variety of I.D.s, O.D.s, lengths, and colors.

The natural rubber latex tubing sheet describes the details of the physical properties, lengths, sizes, packaging information, and colors. The latex tubing is 99.99% protein-free because it is extensively leached, washed, and chlorinated to minimize protein levels. Tubing is available in I.D.s from 1/32" to 1", wall thicknesses up to 1/4", and lengths as small 1/16".

The dip-molded sheet offers data and information on the dipping process and depicts an array of custom dip-molded latex and non-latex products. With newly acquired dipping technology, equipment, and material including synthetic polyisoprene, Kent Elastomer has expanded its product capabilities to include bellows, neck seals, and a variety of other unique shapes and sizes.

Kent Elastomer Products serves a variety of markets worldwide including medical, dental, food/beverage, sports/recreation, laboratory, and industrial.
