The best part of my job is working on issues that present a technical challenge. I can use my skills and experience to help move the project forward. Working on difficult problems involves collaboration, new ideas and crafting a compelling solution for the customer.
I have a bachelor’s degree in chemistry with a minor in geology. I’ve been involved with the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) since 1995, where I wrote a test method determining protein content in natural rubber latex. I currently volunteer and chair four different rubber test methods for ASTM. I also volunteer for the local school systems, discussing chemistry as a career and coaching youth sport programs.
I developed many hobbies over the years. I like to work with wood, train bird dogs, collect minerals, hike, ski and sail. I’m married and have two boys.
