Donation Made to Ronald McDonald House of Akron
KEP employees just wrapped up this year’s donation drive for the Ronald McDonald House of Akron! We are excited to donate a total of $26,270!!
On January 30, 2019, KEP team members Michelle Walker, Mary Brady, Michael Stecyk, Greg Graham, Deborah Slinger, Spencer Martin, Sarah Plum, Don Leeper, Kristi McNemar and Theresa Sexton presented our donation to Craig Wilson, the Interim Director of the Ronald McDonald House of Akron. We are so proud to help sponsor this organization who works hard to provide the families of seriously ill children a home during hospital stays and while undergoing long-term medical treatments.
At our three facilities, our team members raised a combined donation of $11,270. This is an all-time high beating last year’s record of $9,372. This amazing accomplishment shows the big hearts our team members have and we are so proud of their efforts!
With KEP matching funds and a generous donation from former president Murray Van Epp, we got to donate a combined total of $26,270. This is enough to sponsor five rooms at RMHA for the entire 2019 year. Thank you to everyone who participated in this year’s donation drive!
As February is the month to celebrate love and affection, we’d like to say a heartfelt thank you to our wonderful employees on their KEP work anniversaries! Each team member brings unique skills and talents to our company – and we couldn’t do what we do without them....
