Free-Band® Non-Latex Surgical Tourniquet Band | Kent Elastomer

Free-Band® Tourniquets

KEP manufactures safe, non-latex alternatives to medical tourniquet band products to prevent allergic reactions in individuals with latex sensitivities.

Free-Band® Non-Latex Surgical Tourniquet Band

KEP Free-Band® non-latex surgical tourniquet bands are made from a proprietary blend of high-performance materials only available through KEP. Our material blend is specially formulated to mimic the desirable physical properties of latex, such as excellent stretch, easy tying and untying, and good grip on the skin. The result is a latex-free tourniquet that’s easy to use and comfortable for the patient—without the concerns of latex sensitivities or allergies.

KEP has also mastered the art of lean manufacturing. We’ve spent years refining our processes to ensure consistent, on-time delivery of top-quality products that match our customers’ exacting standards. Continuous improvement is in our DNA: Every member of the KEP team is committed to finding ways to do things better, faster, and more efficiently, so we can pass those savings along to our customers.

Additionally, all of our manufacturing facilities are located in the United States. By keeping our production on American soil, we can avoid the delays and disruptions of complex global supply chains and the frustrations of communicating across multiple time zones. As a result, KEP can offer fast turnaround times, consistent, reliable service, and a seamless customer experience.

Ensuring Patient Safety

Our dedication to patient safety goes above and beyond quality manufacturing. Our Free-Band® non-latex tourniquet bands are safe for short-term use, such as a quick blood draw, or prolonged contact, such as a platelet donation.

Because our Free-Band® tourniquet bands are made without latex, they’re safe for anyone who is sensitive or allergic to latex. This is especially beneficial in emergencies and other situations where a patient in need of care may be unable to request a latex-free alternative due to medical distress, unconsciousness, or any type of communication barrier. KEP’s Free-Band® non-latex tourniquet bands offer the same comfort, ease of use, and exceptional performance as a natural rubber latex tourniquet, without any risk of triggering a latex allergy or sensitivity.

Additionally, our Free-Band® medical tourniquets are made for single use, so you can reduce the risk of cross contamination, even in a busy healthcare setting. You can choose between multiple packaging options, including notch-cut reels and rolled tourniquets, so it’s easy to grab just one at a time.

Tourniquets Applications

Free-Band® non-latex surgical tourniquet bands are an essential, everyday product for medical professionals. Healthcare providers use Free-Band® medical tourniquet rolls for patient IV prep and blood draws in hospitals, doctors’ offices, and research laboratories. Staff at blood donation centers and blood banks also use Free-Band® tourniquet bands for blood, plasma, and platelet donations.

In the medical and surgical industry, latex sensitivities and cross-contamination issues can be a significant concern. That’s why Free-Band® tourniquet bands are non-latex and disposable. Thanks to a proprietary non-latex material blend, both patients and staff with sensitivities are protected from latex exposure while using our tourniquet bands. And because our bands are single-use, the risk of cross contamination is greatly reduced. Using our medical tourniquet bands keeps patients safe and gives medical professionals peace of mind.

Custom and Standard Tourniquets Options

We offer a wide variety of standard options for our Free-Band® non-latex surgical tourniquet bands. Our most popular choices are one-inch- or 0.75-inch-wide bands in Standard Blue or Blaze Orange, in boxes of 25, 50, or 100 bands.

We can manufacture our latex-free tourniquets in a variety of colors, including pearlescent and fluorescent shades, and we offer color-matching so you can achieve the perfect hue.
