Meet Curt Dixon

What better occasion than Labor Day to say how proud we are to have talented, hard-working team members like Curt Dixon.
Born and raised in Kent, Ohio, Curt graduated from Kent Roosevelt High School in 1977 and was hired that same year. Curt carries with him an important moment in KEP history. He was our very first extrusion operator when we diversified into thermoplastic elastomer extrusion in 1986!
“I’ve been here 40 years this month, started directly out of high school,” says Curt. What has kept him around so long? His answer is simple: “KEP is a great place to work, with great co-workers and great bosses.”
Curt continues to perform excellently as an extrusion operator in our Mogadore facility. He’s a dedicated team member who is well-respected and loved by his co-workers. Curt is passionate about music and cooking – he even invented his own mouth-watering BBQ sauce! He loves his family, cats and hobbies, include gardening and coin collecting. Curt always finds opportunities to help others and encourages everyone to be at their best.
Curt, from all of us at KEP, thanks for all your hard work and dedication throughout the years. We are lucky to have you on our team!
— John Danes, Vice President of Operations
